MMORPG + Co-op Gaming and Tabletop Games

Join us for this fun gaming class, where students will explore a thrilling mix of MMORPGs with parental controls like Wizard101, Elder Scrolls, and World of Warcraft, alongside engaging board games such as Catan Jr., My First Dragonwood, Forbidden Desert, Chicken Dice, and Sushi Go. In this class, participants will split their time between digital and tabletop gaming, focusing on teamwork and collaboration through co-op video games like Grounded, Hero’s Land, Out of Space, Goose Goose Duck, Super Animal Royale, and Unrailed. Students will develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity while building lasting friendships in a fun, interactive environment.

Class Objectives:

1. Foster Teamwork: Students will work together in both digital and tabletop environments, learning to communicate effectively and support one another in achieving common goals.
2. Develop Strategy Skills: Through various games, students will analyze game mechanics and develop strategic thinking to enhance their gameplay experience.
3. Encourage Creativity: Students will engage in collaborative storytelling and world-building, especially in MMORPGs and cooperative games, promoting imaginative thinking.
4. Build Problem-Solving Skills: Students will face challenges and puzzles that require critical thinking and teamwork to overcome.
5. Promote Respect and Fair Play: Students will learn the importance of good sportsmanship, respecting others, and playing fairly, both in digital and board game formats.
